About
Connecting in Faith, Growing in Community, and Celebrating Life in the Bitterroot Valley.
Rev. Seth L. Leypoldt
Our Pastor
Seth is a Husker! Born and bred in the Cornhusker state (Nebraska), Seth and his family moved to Montana in 2022 and never looked back. A third-generation pastor, Seth has served small and large congregations, all in rural communities.
Seth, and his wife Sarah Bernhardt, bought in home in the Bitterroot valley in early 2025 and several months later was appointed to the Stevensville Church. In his 27th year of ministry Seth is committed to serving a church that is welcoming to all of God’s children. He feels blessed to be serving the wonderful people of Stevi.

Village and Community
What to expect?
The community of the Stevensville Church includes members whose family has been coming for generations, new retirees moving from the big city, families with babies, and everything in between.
All are Welcome!
We value people from all backgrounds, holding true to the root of the gospel and the our history as a church. We are a community that engages with the diversity of God’s creation including theology, politics, economics, identity, and accessibility.
We do not have a specific dress code! On Sundays, you will find people dressed in casual clothing (jeans and t- shirt) and others dressed in Suits or dresses.
It is our hope and prayer that people of all walks of life feel welcomed as soon as they walk in the door, regardless of attire, politics, economics, and etc!
